"Ten Story Love"

Go Fish

"One day Mike showed up with a bunch of names on a piece of paper. We were arguing about band names and couldn't agree on any of them. So Mike had just written a whole bunch of ideas down.

"Anyway, on this piece of paper was the name 'Go Fish', and I thought that would make a great song title. So I had Mike come over one night and we worked out the music.

"Actually, I don't even play cards, so I had Mike write down every card playin' cliche he could think of. Then I pieced them together and finsihed off the lyrics. It just seemed like a good metaphor for summing up the way most relationships seem to go."

"Scot plays the main guitar riff and the solo... we just turned on the recorder and let him spew out about a half-dozen solos, then we picked the one with the most manic energy. That's Scot at his madcap finest!"
